The Ebonyi State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has advised registered members of the party seeking elective positions in the 2027 general election in state to obtain permission from Governor Francis Nwifuru’s before purchasing nomination forms.
The party warned that there would be no refund of money after paying for the nomination forms whether the aspirants scale through at the primaries to not.
Chairman of the party in the state, Chief Stanley Emegha, gave the advice yesterday in Afikpo, Afikpo Local Government Area of the state, during the inauguration of Ebonyi South Senatorial zone chapter of Grassroots Advocacy For President Bola Tinubu And Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (GATFON).
He stated that any aspirant who purchases nomination forms without the governor’s directive will be wasting his effort and resources.
Emegha, who described Nwifuru as a fair-minded leader, disclosed that the governor was committed to ensuring justice and fairness in all constituencies of the state.
He, therefore, enjoined aspirants not to be carried away by social media hype and sponsored endorsements, stressing that the governor and the party would ensure that the right thing was done when the time comes.

Because anything outside the governor’s directive is a waste of resources.
“I feel I should give you this advice because, very soon, APC will start selling forms. Don’t buy any form without the governor’s directive. Any money you pay to party is non- refundable. I don’t want anyone to come to me saying, please, help me to recover my money. I advise you to wait for the governor’s directive. He knows all of us, and he is committed to ensuring justice in all the constituencies” he said.
Emegha commended GATFON for their resilience and commitment in promoting good governance, noting that President Bola Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru have done well for the people of the state and deserve to be re-elected for second terms in office.
He pledged to continue to support the group to actualise their objectives.
Earlier, the Ebonyi State Coordinator of the GATFON, Patrick Anayo Mbam, said the association was formed to promote the policies and achievements of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru, and to mobilise the grassroots towards their re-election come 2027.
He charged the local government coordinators in the zone to take the re-election message of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru to all the wards in the zone.
