The Owa of Otan-Ayegbaju in Osun State, Oba Lukman Fadipe, has warned the youths against being used by political thugs.
The monarch, who spoke at the 26th Otan-Ayegbaju Day celebration on Saturday, urged the politicians to avoid using the youths for mere political gains.

He advised the youths to avoid thuggery and strive to become good leaders who will liberate the country from the shackles of progress.
“I beg politicians to assist the youths and stop using them for violence. I also warn the youths, some of whom are learning thuggery, to stay away from this town. You have many good things to use your time for rather than carrying guns and cutlasses to chase people,” the monarch said.
The Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, appealed to the successful people in the town to use the avenue to the celebration to assist the needy among the youths.
