Nigerian singer-songwriter and music executive Donny Crown, born Ishola Abdul Rasaq Adedoyin, was honored as Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 6th edition of the Eko Heritage Awards.
The honorary recognition was presented during the awards ceremony held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to the organizers, the 2026 edition of the Eko Heritage Awards was held under the theme “From Adversity to Stardom,” highlighting stories of resilience, achievement, and impact across various sectors.
Donny Crown was among the recipients recognized during the ceremony, receiving the Breakthrough Artist of the Year honor. In addition to his music career, Donny Crown serves as the Managing Director of Most Exclusive Doings Entertainment (MEDE), an entertainment company operating within Nigeria’s creative industry.
