Nigerians have been charged to be worthy inspiration to others especially the younger ones.
The call was made by the Very. Revd. (Dr.) Olufisayo Temitayo Aribaba, a consultant ophthalmologist and associate professor of Ophthalmology at College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi-Araba, Lagos.
Aribaba made the call at the 2022 Session and Prize-giving event of the Olive House Academy, Orimerunmu area of Ogun State.
He called on parents and guardians to raise disciplined and resourceful students who will be worthy roadmap to the future.
He also called for partnership with those in authority and schools authority to bring out the very best in Nigerian students, which everyone would be proud, adding that a cooperation with school authorities would help to monitor students’ academic and moral pursuits so as to engender proper discipline.
Aribaba called on the members of the political class to assist parents give their children, meaningful, education for a secured future.
He enjoined students to shun bad peers who will be harmful to their future, while urging them to imbibe the spirit of hard work since there is no gain without pains.
In their comments, the presbyter, Ereko Methodist Cathedral, Very Revd. Ade Ademilua, the school’s proprietress, Mrs. Oluremi Thompson and Bro. Tola Noibi, urged the graduating students to make the best opportunities the school had given to them.
Master Adeyemi Samuel, an SS3 student as well as the school’s Senior Prefect (Girl), Miss. Happiness Ayanlowo, appreciated the immense academic and moral contributions of the school to their lives.
The event featured choral musical entertainment, acrobatic display, and presentation of prizes to students and staff.
