Against all odds, there are indications that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara is set to return to represent Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa for a record fourth time.
Early results released show that Dogara is leading in Bogoro as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) scored 25,339 while the All Progressives Congress has 3,216
In Dass, APC won with 16,664 while PDP lost polling a total of 10,222 votes.
In Tafawa Balewa, PDP polled 36,773 while the APC trails 31,784
The grand total shows PDP scored 72,334 while the APC scored 51,664 votes.
Only about 600 votes outstanding from Kopti unit where elections did not hold on Saturday due to faulty card reader is still being waited at the time of filing report.
