Ugwu faulted claims of improved internally generated revenue, saying Enugu remains heavily dependent on federal allocations. He insisted the $50 billion goal is achievable through farming and factories.
He promised to train 100000 youths in software, artificial intelligence and other skills with global certifications. On security, he rejected state police, citing potential abuse by governors.
Ugwu criticised Governor Peter Mbah’s development agenda for neglecting human consequences. He vowed a state where every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare and opportunities.
