The newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP), Olatunji Disu, is set to take office following his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday.
Disu is expected to take over after his decoration with his new rank by the president at the state house.
The handing and taking over ceremony scheduled to take place at 3 pm will be held at the Louis Edet house, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Other News
Already, senior police officers, journalists, and other dignitaries have assembled in the hall where the ceremony will be held, awaiting the arrival of both the outgoing and incoming IGP.
