Chichi Neblett, a Liberian-born Nollywood actress and entrepreneur known for her striking beauty and vibrant social media presence, has expressed her views on long-distance relationships.
Speaking in an interview with Saturday Sun, the actress, who is also an avid traveler, revealed that Canada remains her favourite destination, citing its breathtaking scenery and affordability.

On whether her frequent travels have ever caused friction in her relationships, the single mother of one said they have not, stressing that she makes her lifestyle clear to potential partners from the outset.
“As an actress and businesswoman, travelling is part of my life. I need a partner who understands that,” she said.
Neblett also disclosed that she has no reservations about dating or marrying someone who lives in another city, insisting that genuine commitment matters more than physical proximity.
“I’d rather have love with distance than settle for comfort without depth. Technology, regular visits and intentional effort make long-distance relationships work when both people are committed,” she stated.
Reflecting on her personal journey, the actress admitted she has made mistakes in the past but believes those experiences have shaped her into a better person.
“Looking back, there are things I wish I had done differently. If I had another chance, I would certainly do better. But those moments are behind me, and I’ve learned from them,” she said.
Neblett also sought to correct public perceptions about her personality, saying her real-life character differs significantly from the image many people have of her online.
Describing herself as caring and affectionate, she revealed that she keeps her circle small because of her playful nature, which she believes can sometimes make people take her for granted.
“I’m a very sweet and loving person, but I don’t easily open up to people. Once I’m comfortable with someone, I become very playful. That’s why I guard my space. People shouldn’t judge me based on my social media presence because I’m a completely different person offline,” she added.
