Communities across Southeast Nigeria erupted in joy as De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF) rolled out five ultra-modern classroom blocks and expanded its scholarship scheme for students in the region.
The projects were unveiled during the group’s Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held from July 1 to July 4, 2026, at Acropolis Resort, Okija, Anambra State, under the leadership of its National President, High Chief Dr. Sir Darlington Nwabunike.
From Imo to Anambra, the intervention has brought relief to schools struggling with poor infrastructure. Beneficiary schools include Comprehensive Secondary School, Eziawa (Imo); Isuachara Primary School (Ebonyi); Community Primary School, Ihie Isuochi (Abia); Central Primary School, Iwollo (Enugu); and Community Secondary School, Nando (Anambra).
In addition, DIPF unveiled the fourth phase of its secondary school scholarship scheme and the second phase for top JAMB performers in the Southeast.

Chairman of the Education Committee, Chief Chikezie Okonkwo, expressed delight at the programme’s impact, noting that hundreds of students are benefiting annually.
Also speaking, scholarship consultant and CEO of Best Brain Contest, Dr. Frank Igbojindu, praised the initiative, describing it as a life-changing intervention for young people.
For many families, the gesture represents renewed hope and a brighter future.
