Diddy to remain in detention after bail denial

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is being detained at the Special Housing Unit in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn pending his court appearance on Wednesday.
Daily Sun reported that Diddy was arrested on Monday in Manhattan following a grand jury indictment.
According to a CNN report, the embattled hip-hop icon is currently in a special housing unit separate from the general prison population.
The unit is for inmates who require additional protection, among other reasons and has held high-profile individuals in MDC, including R. Kelly, Sam Bankman-Fried and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The rapper will appeal the decision to hold Diddy without bail before US District Court Judge Andrew Carter on Wednesday.
Should the appeal be denied, Diddy will return to the detention centre.
Diddy, who faces charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, was denied bail per a federal judge’s ruling, international news sources reported on Tuesday.
The celebrity pled not guilty to the charges brought against him.
