World and Commonwealth Games 100m hurdles champion Tobi Amusan faces another hurdle on her road to the Wanda Diamond League Final beginning tomorrow at the Athletissima meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.
With world titles won and Commonwealth crown claimed, Amusan is heading for an encore performance when she takes on reigning Olympic Champion, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and world silver medalist, Britany Anderson
The Nigeria golden girl will be defending her Diamond League title which she won in Zurich after her world record and world title win in Oregon and her Commonwealth victory in Birmingham.
The 25-year-old, who ran 12.12 in the World Championships semifinals, will be hoping for another strong run as she takes on Puerto Rico’s Camacho-Quinn, former world record-holder Kendra Harrison, plus home star, Ditaji Kambundji and Brittany Anderson.
Other contenders in the Women’s 100m hurdles event are Keni Harrison silver medalists from Tokyo, 2019 world champion Nia Ali and Tia Jones
