Digital content creator Destiny Ogie Osarewinda, popularly known as DEZNY, spent more than a month preparing for his production, Marriage List, before filming began.
The preparation included researching cultural practices featured in the story, particularly the role of Umu’Ada and the use of traditional beads.
According to details of the production, DEZNY asked questions and sought to understand traditions with which he was not fully familiar before incorporating them into the story.
He also completed the script before filming, allowing him to establish the storyline ahead of production.
DEZNY began creating entertainment content during his secondary school years and later developed experience in writing, filming and editing digital productions.
He has been nominated in the Best Digital Content Creator category at the 2026 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The nomination comes as he continues to produce content for his online audience.
