Senator Dino Melaye has described Delta State as a ‘construction site’ under the leadership of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, expressing deep admiration for the rapid development going on in the oil-rich state.
Melaye gave the verdict after attending the burial rites of Elder Gilbert Okafor Ibegbulem, father of former Principal Secretary to ex-Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Dr. Hilary Obi Ibegbulem, in the state.
The former lawmaker shared his impressions on Facebook, describing the transformation as nothing short of remarkable.
“I was waoooed in Delta State,” Melaye wrote, adding that the entire state had become a massive construction site.

He praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his focus on people-oriented projects, noting that visible infrastructure development could be seen across all corners of the state.
“My respect to the Governor and people of Delta State. People-oriented projects everywhere across the state. Bravo!” he added.
Senator Melaye’s endorsement adds to the growing commendations Governor Oborevwori has received for his infrastructure drive and commitment to inclusive development since assuming office.
