A suspected notorious female drug baron has been arrested during a raid on a drug hideout in the Ugholo community, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, by Anti-Crime Patrol operatives of the Orerokpe Police Division.
It was learnt that the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Justina Onokpasa, was apprehended by operatives on April 15.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the development in a statement on Saturday, said that during the raid, operatives recovered exhibits which included two large bags of weed suspected to be ‘Canadian Loud’ and 300 small cans of substances also suspected to be ‘Canadian Loud’.
Other items recovered include 30 bottles of CSC codeine, 10 sachets of tramadol, two sachets of ‘Super Royal’ (Redboy), 12 sachets of Swinol, 12 pieces of Molly drugs, and 400 empty distribution cans.

Edafe stated that the suspect is in custody and that an investigation is currently ongoing.
Similarly, operatives of the State Anti-Cult Unit (SACU) raided several drug spots in Abraka on April 16, resulting in the arrest of three suspects.
The police imagemaker disclosed that during the raid, large quantities of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs were recovered.
He added that the suspects are in custody and that investigations are ongoing.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, commended the operatives and reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to sustain such operations, urging the public to continue supporting the police with credible information.
