Also reacting to the development, the former Secretary General of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Anthony Sani said there was nothing surprising about the PDP governors defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said such happening under civil rule was democracy in action and it should be accepted as such.

Speaking with the Daily Sun, he said: “I do not see anything deserving of comments on decamping. This is because such actions are democracy in action.
“Every government gains some new friends and loses some old ones. We have been treated recently with a coalition of some politicians who wish to use the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to provide viable opposition as an alternative platform. The issue at stake is often the net effect of the gains and losses. There is, therefore, no qualms.”
