Death of HRH Jonas Uche A Personal Loss — Mazi Humphrey Mourns

The founder Onyekachi Great Vision (OGV) Foundation, a non-governmental organisation and a great son of Ndiuche Arondizuogu, Mazi Onyekachi Humphrey has expressed sadness over the death of the oldest traditional Ruler in Ndiuche Arondizuogu, Ideato North LGA Imo state, Eze Jonas Ekemezie Uche (Okaa Omee 1) of Uche Izuogu autonomous community in Arondiizuogu, describing it as a great loss.

Mazi Humphrey, a business tycoon and philanthropist said the late royal father devoted his life to the selfless service of his community, saying the people of Arondizuogu, Ideato North LGA and Imo state in general will miss his fatherly figure.

In a condolence message to the bereaved family on Wednesday, Mazi Humphrey remarked that the late Eze Jonas Ekemezie Uche was a great king whose counsel he sought in critical issues of life.

“The late Eze Jonas Ekemezie Uche is a respected leader whose long reign was characterized by dignity, compassion and a tireless commitment to serving our community.

“He was a clan head of Arondizuogu, the first chairman of Arondiziogu council of traditional rulers, the two times chairman of ideato North council of traditional rulers.

“A former chairman ideato nation ( both ideato South and North local govt.) former member Imo state council of traditional rulers. He was among the longest Eze on throne in Imo State.

“It is my wish that God Almighty will give his gentle soul of peace repose” he prayed.
