Nollywood star Funke Akindele has revealed how singer D’banj put his project on hold to support hers without charging her anything.
Akindele, who made the disclosure during the premiere of her movie Everybody Loves Jenifa on Sunday night, expressed gratitude to the veteran artist for the gesture.
She shared how the ‘Fall in Love’ crooner instructed his team to cut his project to support hers following repeated pleas.
“A big thank you to Bangalee; he was supposed to travel for a project. I begged and begged and begged.

“He told his guys to cut the project, and he would do this for me, and he did it at no cost,” the popular actress stated while giving her speech.
Speaking at the movie premiere, rapper Falz showered encomium on Akindele, disclosing his admiration for his co-star.
Falz added that the project was a beautiful one and being a part of the series Everybody Loves Jenifa was a no-brainer for him.
