It was an opportunity for rural women in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to hav interaction with two ministers; Babatunde Fashola, Power, Works and Housing and Muhammad Musa Bello, FCT. The gathering was to educate and enlighten them of effort to give them good life.

Bello used graphical and pictorial illustrations to show the women infrastructural projects in Abuja. Fashola provided some comical relief each time he tried to connect with the women in Hausa language, which obviously, was difficult for him because of his poor knowledge of the language.

While some women appreciated the approach used to serve FCT people, others raised concerns over mal-administration evident in the dilapidated state of infrastructure in FCT, particularly at the rural communities.

Kemi Otegbade revisited the claim that women, particularly rural women, are major voters in elections, hence the need to accommodate their views and request in the process.
