The Chairman of the Osun State Gubernatorial Congress Delegate Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr Shehu Umaru Dange, has announced that a total of 1,660 delegates will participate in the party’s forthcoming governorship primary election.
Speaking at the APC secretariat in Osogbo, Dange explained that five delegates were elected from each of the 332 wards in the state.
“I’m happy to announce that, following the ward congress to elect delegates, a total of 1,660 were elected. These delegates will be responsible for the primary election and will elect the APC candidate.” Dange stated.

Dange extended gratitude to all involved in the delegate election and acknowledged the leadership of the National Working Committee for entrusting them with this responsibility. “By the grace of God, we successfully conducted these elections without any issues,” he added.
He also commended the support of the Osun APC chapter, which enabled a peaceful process, and encouraged party members across the state to keep supporting President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
“We should ensure unity and harmony beyond the primaries. This will enable us to support the President in his renewed hope agenda, striving for a better Nigeria, a stable democracy, and a strong party—the greatest party in Africa, which is the APC,” Dange said.
