Dambe Warriors: Sisco shocks Hussain in main event

Dogon Sisco shocked Saudi Arabia’s Hussain Al Mutairi in the the heavyweight division of the Dambe Warriors Circuit fight one at the Ado Bayero Square, Kano state.

With over 5,000 spectators in attendance, they were thrilled with the nine fights in three divisions.

The warriors contested in lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight divisions.

In each division, six fighters have been ranked and only the top five would be moving to the next circuit as the 6th ranked fighters in all divisions will be eliminated from the league.

According to the Dambe Warriors League founders, the major aim is to have warriors qualify to battle in Dambe Superfight later this year, while bringing world-class Dambe to all Nigerians through innovative and cutting-edge partnerships.

After seeing great action in Kano, all attention will focus on Dambe Warriors circuit fight two in Abuja come September 17, 2023.

The Dambe Warriors league founders, their local partner (Cloud 9), and their circuit sponsors (Hypo, Indomie, Amstel Malta, AIICO, and Climax) are very impressed with the standard of circuit fight one, and the warriors have promised to raise the bar even further going forward.

The President of Dambe Association, Aminu Goje, has pledged to give maximum support to the organizers of Dambe Warriors to move it to the next level.
