Cute in rainy season

Style1

The rains have been pouring, that’s not an excuse to look scruffy or unkempt.

The biggest mistake people make is wearing one thick outfit and look less attractive.

Simply swap them for nylon, polyester, scuba, treated denim, and Ankara. These fabrics dry fast and won’t weigh you down in traffic. Ankara dries quickly and the bright prints pop against grey skies, though ideal for weekends, church, and cultural events.

For your feet, colourful or white sneakers are a rainy season casualty. One puddle and they’re ruined.  This season belongs to rain sandals or boots. They’re easy to clean and they instantly make any outfit look intentional. Maxi dresses and wide pants are risky. Stick to knee, midi, and ankle lengths.

Get colourful bubble umbrellas. A polka dot or other colourful ones, give a trendy, posh look.

A waterproof crossbody bag keeps your phone safe and leaves your hands free. Add hair in braids, buns, or wigs.

For makeup, go light base and waterproof mascara is just the best.

Rainy season is not going anywhere. So the goal is not to survive it, but to style through it with  your appearance.
