The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has appointed Comptroller Aminu Sule as the new Controller of the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone B, Kaduna.
He succeeded Comptroller Aliyu Alkali, who has been redeployed to Onne Command.
At a brief handover ceremony held at the unit’s headquarters, Comptroller Sule pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor while strengthening efforts to combat smuggling and safeguard the nation’s economy.
In his inaugural address, Sule emphasised intelligence-driven operations, digital coordination, and closer collaboration with security agencies, border communities, and compliant traders.

“FOU Zone B will be relentless against smuggling, uncompromising in its duty, and unwavering in its loyalty to the mission of the Comptroller-General.
“Our goal is clear: to support the Comptroller-General in delivering a monumental legacy of a reformed, modernised, and globally respected Nigeria Customs Service,” he vowed.
He further warned smugglers and economic saboteurs that the unit is fortified and fully committed to delivering results, urging officers to work with unity, courage, and determination.
The event was attended by senior officers and staff of the unit, signifying a seamless leadership transition.
