The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has directed all successful candidates for its ongoing recruitment exercise to appear for physical screening and documentation at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja, according to a statement issued Tuesday.
The Service’s National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, said shortlisted candidates must report only on the date assigned to their respective states and cadres, warning that attendance is compulsory and that failure to appear as scheduled could result in disqualification.
Candidates are required to come with original copies and photocopies of key documents, including their National Identification Number (NIN), birth certificate or declaration of age, and educational qualifications ranging from O’Level to Degree certificates, as applicable.
Also required are a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form, and an NYSC Certificate where applicable.
For the exercise itself, candidates have been instructed to dress in a white T-shirt, shorts, and canvas shoes.
The statement added that candidates who scale the screening and documentation stage will receive further instructions from the NCS on subsequent phases of the recruitment process.
Maiwada, speaking on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, said the Service remains committed to a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment exercise, and cautioned candidates and the public to rely only on official NCS channels for authentic updates.
