Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Olohundare Jimoh, has deployed Anti-Cultism Squads in all area commands within the state.

The CP also released telephone numbers to contact whenever there is suspicion that cultists were about to act or have started operating.

Lagos State Police  Public Relations Officer PPRO SP Benjamin Hundeyin,said the department  was as a result of the Jimoh’s determined effort to tackle headlong the menace of cultism

“The squads have been equipped to respond swiftly and professionally to cultism-related threats and are tasked with conducting surveillance, responding to distress calls, apprehending cultism suspects, and working with local communities to dismantle Network

4. The CP, urged members of the public to play an active role in this effort by providing credible intelligence as quickly as possible. All reports will be treated with utmost confidentiality.”
