Committed to upholding its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and improving quality of service in workplaces, Lets talk Academia, the education-based arm of LETS TALK, creators of Nigeria’s first indigenous instant messaging app, has trained 24 top management staff of the National Environmental Standards and Regulatory Enforcement Agency (NESREA).

The two-day training themed “Improving Employee Work Ethics Performance and Commitment in the Workplace” which took place in Abuja was aimed at promoting and improving the commitment of staffs and employees toward achieving organisational goals and to encourage maximum productivity at the workplace.

Chief Executive Officer of LETS TALK, Folashade Ayeni, said the initiative was necessitated by the urgent need to bridge the knowledge gap and to imbibe good work ethics in the staff within the public service while noting that the training emphasised the need for participants to create their own personal value system centering on their “carriage and expectation.”

She said, “The training is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. The training was anchored on the need to encourage staff commitment to organizational goals and vision in order to produce optimum service delivery”

She further stated that the firm has developed an innovative environmental safeguard product, known as the Save Environment Compact Tank (SECT) to fulfil the Ministry of Environment’s mandate to protect the nation’s primary and secondary environment.
