Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Ayo Ni O (Bethel Ministry), situated at 4, Ovwigbo Yoma Avenue, Lanre Bus stop, Igando-Isheri Expressway, Lagos, marked its first anniversary with praises, thanksgiving and a reaffirmation of its mission. The event brought together congregants and guests to reflect on a year of divine grace and progress.

Leader-in-Charge, Pastor Peter Jimoh-Bakare, expressed profound gratitude to God for sustaining the ministry through a challenging first year: “Looking back, the journey was tough because of the rough road. But the mercy and grace of God kept and preserved us.

“Despite facing ridicule, blackmail and other challenges, God’s unwavering faithfulness sustained saw us through. And we are assured of brighter years ahead.” 

He reiterated the church’s vision of being a spiritual watchman to this generation and its mission to proclaim freedom to the spiritually captive. He also thanked those who supported the ministry with prayers, resources and encouragement, wishing them abundant blessings.

Chairman and General Leader of Christ Royal Mandate District, Special Apostle Prophet T.O. Komolafe, delivered the sermon: “Uncommon Grace.” He used passages from Luke 2:23 and 1 Samuel 2:26 to illustrate how God’s favour empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, achieve greatness, and enjoy divine protection.

“When God calls you and you obey, He will carry you to fly,” he declared, inspiring the congregation to embrace God’s grace.

Pastor Oladele Awoleru of The Light Bible Ministry (CSMC Ayo Ni O), described the anniversary as evidence of divine favour. He noted that the remarkable achievements of the ministry in just one year surpassed what some churches achieve in a decade:

“This success is proof of a divine calling.” He urged Pastor Jimoh-Bakare to remain faithful to his mission and predicting even greater accomplishments in the future.

Sister Oyinade Peter-Bakare, Pastor Jimoh-Bakare’s, also expressed gratitude to God for His guidance and sustenance. She acknowledged the challenges faced during the past year but remained optimistic about the ministry’s future:

“This is just the beginning. I pray that in the next five years, God will give us more grace to win souls and take us to greater heights.”

MSA Olabode Gidigbi from the CSMC Ayo Ni O, Ikotun Circuit Headquarters, encouraged Pastor Jimoh-Bakare to stay rooted in the Word of God: “He should keep doing God’s work and forge ahead.”
