The co-director of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Women Mobilisation Directorate, Dr. Betta Edu, on Tuesday, declared Cross River State 100 per cent behind President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 reelection bid and Governor Bassey Otu’s second term ambition.
She spoke to journalists on the sidelines of a campaign rally in Calabar, which she attended with Vice President Kashim Shettima, governors, party leaders, stakeholders and supporters. She said the state was poised to deliver overwhelming victories.

Edu described the rally as a demonstration of the unity and strength of the APC family in Cross River, and said the party remained committed to consolidating the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
She called on party members, women, youths and grassroots mobilisers to sustain the momentum through community engagement and voter sensitisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Also at the rally were Senate President Godswill Akpabio, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the governors of Cross River, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Edo States, and the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
