Cross River PDP appoints state executives

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Cross Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed five members into its state executive committee.

The appointment was approved by the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party  at its 36th meeting.

Mike Ojisi, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, in a statement, said the appointment was in accordance with section 47 of the Constitution of the PDP as amended.

 He listed the appointees as “Mathias Njok (State Vice Chairman North), Thomas Okoroji Monday (State Youth Leader), David Adie (State Auditor), Queency Nkanu Essien Patrick (State Legal Adviser) and Helen Boco (State Organizing Secretary)”.

Ojisi added that the appointees would be inaugurated next week while appointments for vacant positions at the Ward and Chapter levels would be announced in due course.

Ojisi urged party faithful, loyalists, and supporters across the State to remain steadfast, united, and unwavering in their commitment to the party.
