“The Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral I. E. Ogalla launched Operation Delta Security 2 last year to curtail crude oil theft in the Niger Delta.

“He also graciously granted that we should conduct Corporate Social Responsibility for the communities that are around our area of operation.

“NNS Victory, alongside the Reference Hospital Calabar decided to conduct this Rhapsody so that we can meet the health challenges of some community members.

“The essence is to ensure that we bond with the community and get them to support our operations.

“If they are not healthy, they cannot go about their normal duties and it will tell on our operations”, he said.

The community received treatment for various ailments including those with eye challenges who got free eye glasses and also free food.
