Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, has dared political opponents to defeat him at the polls, citing an unbroken record in six elections since 2011.

Senator Eteng disclosed this at Mkpani in Yakurr LGA of the state said “I’ve been in these battles since 2011. I’ve won six elections. I’ve never failed. Four elections. Two reruns. So nobody should lie to anybody and say, ‘Oh, if this person stands in the election, he will defeat me,’” Williams said.

The ranking senator said the support he receives is “organic” and that the race remains open for constituents to see “who stands where.”

Looking ahead, Williams said his priority if re-elected would be human capital development. He said he has already sponsored over 36 people to study abroad and supported multiple school projects across the district.

As a ranking senator, he promised constituents “more of me” and more projects, saying the district should expect increased impact.

Williams is seeking to extend his political streak in the upcoming election cycle for Cross River Central.
