Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to appear on screen in a new football drama series titled, Day 1s.
According to reports, the Portugal and Al Nassr captain is lined up for both an acting cameo and an executive producer role on the show, which is about a fictional football agent.
Homeland and Billions star, Damian Lewis will play the lead role as top agent Stanley Dalton.
The Sun UK reports that Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry will also feature in the show.
Filming has already started, including at English League Two club, Barnet.

The drama is based on a concept devised by legendary real-life agent Darren Dein, who is also an executive producer on the project.
The series will be made by UR•Marv Studios, which Ronaldo runs with director Matthew Vaughn. Other cast members include British rapper Dave and newcomer Carlotta Banat.
A TV insider said the show is “definitely a drama, with some comedic elements,” and that the calibre of names involved means it is likely to spark a bidding war between streaming platforms.
“There’s a renewed international interest, particularly in the States, in British football,” the source added, comparing it to the growing popularity of shows like Ted Lasso.
