…Ubochi hails monarch’s role in harmonising Igbo traditional leadership
The Secretary of the Committee on the Regularisation of Igbo Diaspora Traditional Title and Leadership (CRIDTTL), Prince Ubochi Ubochi, JP, FICCON, MCSN, has joined other well-wishers and prominent Nigerians in congratulating the Eze Imo, His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr Emmanuel C. Okeke, CFR, JP, Eze Udo II of Amaifeke Ancient Kingdom, Imo State, on his birthday which he celebrated on the 10th of October.
In a special birthday message, Prince Ubochi described Eze Okeke as a special gift to Ndigbo, particularly those living in the diaspora.
Commending the monarch for his pivotal role in harmonising Igbo traditional leadership in the South-East through the adoption of the Ndindu Ndigbo nomenclature, Ubochi said the initiative had helped restore peace and orderliness among Igbo communities in the diaspora.

He said: “His Royal Majesty, you are truly special to Ndigbo, especially those of us in the diaspora.
“Your fatherly guidance and moral support have given us hope. Your intervention and collaboration with other South-East traditional rulers have restored peace to Igbo traditional leadership outside Igboland. The era of rivalry and conflict between Igbo communities in the diaspora and their host communities over traditional leadership is over. A new era of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and harmonious relationships has been firmly established.
“As you celebrate your birthday, we wish you long life and prosperity in good health, in Jesus’ name. Amen,” he prayed.
