Creatives visit Lagos NSCDC, seek partnership

Popular Nollywood actress, Amanda Ebeye, content creator Glo Glo, PR strategist Cornell Udofia, actress Queen Ijeoma Marcel and other members of the creative industry recently paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Lagos to explore areas of collaboration.

The delegation was received on behalf of the Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, by Chief Superintendent of Corps,  David Adediran.

Speaking during the visit, Cornell Udofia said the meeting was aimed at strengthening ties between the creative industry and the NSCDC, particularly in youth engagement, community development, and social impact through entertainment and digital content.

Amanda Ebeye commended the Lagos NSCDC for its commitment to security and openness to collaboration with creatives, noting that partnerships between entertainers and security agencies could help promote positive values among young people.

Rave TV host, Dr Champion Onyekwelu, also praised the command for its recent operational successes and urged Nigerians to support security agencies nationwide.

Queen Ijeoma Marcel, a final-year student at the University of Lagos, called for stronger collaboration between the NSCDC and students to curb crime on campuses.
