The Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has nullified the removal of Hon. Mudashiru Obasa as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
In a judgement delivered on Wednesday, Justice Yetunde Pinheiro held that the January 13 action was unconstitutional, null and void.
Other News
The court also nullified all resolutions and decisions of the House in the January 13, 2025 proceedings during which Obasa was ousted and awarded N500,000 to Obasa as damages.
Following his ouster, Obasa had approached the court to challenge the legality of his removal.
