The Ogun State High Court, Ifo, will  rule today on an application for an interlocutory injunction in a suit over an alleged breach of contract involving the assets of Dolphin Steels Limited, which is in receivership.

The suit, HCF/136/2026, was instituted by Prodigy Finance Limited, which is seeking, among other reliefs, an order of specific performance over an agreement for the sale of the company’s assets located in Papalanto, Ifo Local Government ,Ogun State.

The defendants in the matter are the receiver-manager of Dolphin Steels Limited,  Olugbenga Ajala, and Zenith Bank Plc.

At the resumed hearing on July 23, counsel to the claimant, Oluwatosin Olumakin, urged the court to restrain the defendants from further dealing with or disposing of the assets pending the determination of the substantive suit.

The application followed the absence of legal representation for the defendants at the proceedings.

After confirming that the required hearing notices had been served and noting that the defendants were out of time to respond to the application, the presiding judge, Justice Ogunfowora, adjourned the matter until today , for ruling on the application.
