The Federal High Court sitting in Damaaturu, Yobe State capital, on Wednesday, affirmed the declaration of Bashir Machina as the winner of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party primaries for the Yobe North Senatorial seat.
The court had earlier fixed today Wednesday 28th September for the delivery of judgment on the suit filed by Machina.
Machina approach the court to affirm him as the duly elected candidate for the Yobe North, ahead of 2023 to stop the Senate President, Sen Ahmed Lawan, lay claims to the same candidacy.
