One arrested
From Uchenna Inya, Abakaliki
Mrs Blessing Adagba, Coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, is free again.
Gunmen kidnapped her last week in Okposhi Eheku community.
She spent six days in captivity.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, confirmed her release. He said a team of policemen made it happen.
“The victim was released yesterday, on Tuesday night. During the tracking of the suspects, after the release of the victim, we were able to arrest one of the syndicate, Chukwuemeka Nwazunku, male,” he stated.
Ukandu added, “We hope that the arrest of Nwazunku will help our men in fishing out the gang.” The kidnappers had demanded N30 million for Adagba’s freedom.
