Real Sociedad has listed supposedly injured Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq for its Copa del Rey Round of 16 clash with Osasuna at the El Sadar Stadium tonight.
Recall the lanky striker pulled out of Nigeria’s team for the 2023 African Cup Nations (AFCON) due to injury.
Real Sociedad on Tuesday shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) announcing the availability of Remiro and Sadiq in the list for the game in El Sadar.
Goalkeeper Remiro, who was suspended from last weekend’s derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Club and striker Umar, who was with his national team Nigeria at the AFCON, are once again at the disposal of Imanol Alguacil.
The presence of Sadiq Umar, who returned from the Nigerian camp because he was injured but found out not to be, is the most notable news from Real Sociedad to play tomorrow in El Sadar against Osasuna in the round of 16 tie of the Copa del Rey.
