…Introduces CHATS product for transparency

The Nigeria Data Protection Bureau (NDPB) is partnering with Convexity Technologies a renowned software Engineering and International Strategy Consultancy firm based in Nigeria to protect transparency and best data practices.
During a seminar held over the weekend by Convexity technologies, NDPB and Domineum Block chain solutions, Mr. Adedeji Owonibi Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Convexity technologies provided a group of NGOs with comprehensive insights into data privacy regulations and sharing, including industry best practices related to data collection.
According to Mr. Owonibi, ‘the event served as a platform for NGOs to enhance their understanding of their responsibilities and obligations regarding the protection of personal data’.
The COO who regretted a report of a foreign Newspaper which wrote that instead of giving aid or assistance to Nigerian organization, such monies should better be burnt said that their ground-breaking product is called Convexity Humanitarian Aid Transfer Solution (CHATS).
He explained that CHATS pushes the boundaries of openness and transparency in the global Cash and Vouch Assistance (CVA) space.
‘By leveraging blockchain technology, CHATS facilities secure and transparent transactions, ensuring that international donors and philanthropists can confidently contribute to initiatives within Nigeria, ‘he said.
Barrister Babatunde Bamigboye a Director in NDPB who represented the National Commission, NDPB Dr. Vincent Olatunji disclosed how exited he was to discuss with stakeholders on how to develop the country’s data system and endevour to improve the confidence of international donors and philanthropists in the country’s financial processes and bolster the overall credibility of the Nigerian technology and blockchain space.
The outfit have the record of serving both international partners and client including organizations such as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Association of Nation al Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and the United Nations children’s fund (UNICEF) among others.
