The Chief Executive Officer of Western Eagle Security Limited, Busayo Mogaji, has applauded the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, and Nigeria Police athlete, Corporal Ezekiel Nathaniel, following the officer’s gold medal-winning performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Mogaji described Nathaniel’s victory as a proud moment for Nigeria, saying the achievement has not only brought honour to the country but has also further projected the Nigeria Police Force as an institution capable of producing world-class talents.
He praised IGP Disu for his commitment to reviving sports in the Nigeria Police Force, noting that the Inspector-General’s investment in athlete development, improved welfare, and the creation of an enabling environment for police athletes is yielding remarkable results.
According to Mogaji, Nathaniel’s Commonwealth Games triumph reflects the success of the IGP’s vision to reposition police sports as a platform for excellence, discipline, and national pride.
The security executive, who noted that IGP Disu is himself a judo medalist, said the Force’s renewed focus on sports has inspired officers to excel both in their professional duties and on the international sporting stage.
He wished Corporal Nathaniel continued success in his career and commended the Inspector-General for providing leadership that continues to inspire exceptional performances by police athletes, describing the Commonwealth gold medal as a testament to the positive impact of the IGP’s sporting vision.
