A senior pastor in World Evangelism Bible Incorporated (WEBIC), Funmi Afolabi, has counselled married women to build their homes in order to facilitate peace in the family.
She gave the charge in Lagos as a special guest and speaker during the thanksgiving service to round off the Achievers Ladies’ three-day conference of the church’s branch at Alapere in Lagos.
Afolabi, who spoke on the conference theme: “Women are majestic builders” listed areas a woman should build her home to include morality, raising good children, prayer life and economy.
According to her, women should be prayer partners to their husbands. Monitor children’s access on the social media and watch what they watch on television
“Adults are like mirror to children. Women should dress moderately and set good standards for their children to ensure peaceful future,” she said.
Afolabi said women should help their spouses economically, noting that there are no full-time housewives these days.
Highlights of the day were the inauguration of the executive committee of the branch by the National President, Maureen Omokhomion, praise and worship songs and cutting of conference cake.
Resident Pastor, Harold Chinnoyerem, advised the women to continue building their homes and maintaining good prayer life.
