An Abia-born cleric, Rev. Ubani, has commended the senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, for what he described as “unprecedented” development projects that extend well beyond the borders of his constituency.
Rev. Ubani said the former governor had redefined legislative representation by prioritising tangible infrastructure over token empowerment programmes.
“Others are busy doing empowerment, thereby shortchanging the people. But Kalu is using what he could have kept for himself to fix roads, ranging from one kilometre to two kilometers stretches across communities.
“Other states and senatorial districts are praying for a senator who will do what Kalu is doing in Abia North. We should support him, pamper him and even beg him to continue representing Abia North.”

He said he had personally toured various parts of the state and seen Kalu’s projects firsthand from rural roads to community facilities, noting that his footprint is evident not just in Abia North, but also in other senatorial districts.
“This is the kind of leadership that changes lives, not just for four years but for generations,” he stressed.
He urged Abians from all districts to rally behind the former governor, insisting that Kalu’s developmental strides present a model of governance worth emulating across Nigeria.
