Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Cityman, born Abubakar Ishaq Abiodun, is gaining attention in the Afrobeats scene with the release of his latest single, Pami Baby, featuring singer Lyta.
The Lagos-born artist began his music career in 2016 at age 18, initially performing covers before transitioning to original songs. He officially stepped into the spotlight in 2019 with his debut single Sisi Maria, featuring FJB, which introduced listeners to his melodic Afrobeats style.
Cityman further established himself with collaborations with artistes including Seyi Vibez and the release of his 2021 EP Out Of The Ghetto, a project that explored themes of resilience and ambition.
