Church concludes 2026 AGC with new leadership, calls for spiritual revival

The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries has concluded its 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC), at The New Seraph Prayer City in Ode Remo, Ogun State.

Anchored on the theme, “Revive Us O Lord” (Lamentations 5:21), the three-day event brought together ministers, church leaders, delegates and youths from across Nigeria and the diaspora for spiritual renewal and strategic planning.

The conference served as a defining moment for the ministry, offering a platform to assess the current realities of the Church, strengthen unity and chart a progressive course for the Cherubim & Seraphim (C&S) fold at large.

The opening ceremony was graced by several guests, including Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere, adding vibrant colour to the gathering.

In her welcome address, the Founder and Iya Aladura General of The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, described the conference as a divine call to spiritual awakening, as she emphasised that the theme was a timely cry for realignment in a period when both society and the Church require divine direction.

“Revival is not noise; it is transformation. Revival is not an event; it is a visitation. Revival is when God restores what was lost, rekindles what was dying and repositions His people for glory,” she said.

The spiritual momentum intensified on the second day with sermons, worship sessions and deliverance prayers. Pastor Festus B. Taiwo urged participants to seek personal and collective spiritual renewal through total dependence on God and a rekindled commitment to kingdom service.

The conference featured seminars and interactive panel discussions aimed at structural and administrative development. Prominent ministers, including Apostle Olaitan Oloruntoyin, Apostle Oke Raphael, Dayo Oyewo and Rev Taiwo Akinmoladun, led discussions on church growth, accountability and youth engagement. Open interactive sessions also allowed delegates to freely contribute recommendations and constructive feedback regarding the ministry’s growth.
