Samuel Chukwueze missed Wednesday’s training session with a hip problem that needs assessment, but several sources in Italy say the Nigerian is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
The former Fulham loanee did not take part in a morning training session on Wednesday, the eve of a Europa League game against Bournemouth, and underwent medical tests.
According to Sport Mediaset, the 27-year-old will also have a specialist visit to determine the extent of his injury.

Reports say Chukwueze felt discomfort in his left hip, and Milan fear the injury could be serious enough to sideline the Nigerian for several weeks or even months.
Chukwueze’s injury adds to Alexis Saelemaekers’ recent ankle surgery, which has kept the Belgian sidelined for at least the next five months.
Chukwueze has been a regular starter for Milan under Ruben Amorim this season, with two assists in eight appearances across all competitions.
