The Nigerian International lost his mother on New Year’s Day, a few months after he lost his father.
The club on Thursday afternoon sent a message to the player and urged the club member to respect his privacy.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Stanley Nwabali and his family following the passing of his beloved mother.
“We kindly request that everyone respect Stanley’s privacy during this difficult time,” the club said.
Nwabali had announced the unfortunate incident on social media on Wednesday.
“A very very crazy world indeed; RIP mom, worst year of my life already,” the 28-year-old wrote on X.
A few months ago, in the year 2024, Chippa United and Nigeria’s goalkeeper lost his father.
Nwabali was excused from Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Rwanda because of the sad incident. Rest in peace mum.
