Chinese govt. seeks bilateral agreement with Kebbi

Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Zhou Pingjian, has expressed the readiness of the Chinese  Government to partner the Kebbi State Government in the areas of trade and agriculture sector.

The ambassador, who made the disclosure yesterday,  in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State, during his courtesy visit to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, at Government House, appealed to the state to tap from the  China International Import Expo (CIIE) slated to hold this November, 2018, in Shangai.

“China wants to share experience of  her progress with participating countries around the world. The CIIE is a bold step taken by the Chinese government to open up its market to the world. This is also a platform where Kebbi State, Nigeria, will show what it can produce for the rest of the world,” he said.

Pingjian said Chinese government was willing and determined to expand export and create an avenue for investment and business cooperation among participating developing countries.

He said the purpose of his visit to the state is to cooperate with the state government, to encourage more investments from China to Nigeria. He also commended the state government for making the Chinese investors safe in Warra village of Ngaski Local Government Area of the state.
