Chinese Embassy hails Nnamdi Azikiwe University student over advancement in Chinese Proficiency Competition

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nigeria has hailed Faith Mba Emmanuel for advancing to the Global Top 30 in the 25th Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students.
The Embassy expressed its sentiments in a congratulatory message to the student of the Confucius Institute at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, in a post on X.

“Warmest congratulations to Faith Mba Emmanuel (Chinese name: Lu Xingyao), a student of the Confucius Institute at Nnamdi Azikiwe University for advancing to the Global Top 30 in the 25th ‘Chinese Bridge’ Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students!” the Chinese Embassy wrote.
The Embassy, while further expressing its excitement, said the feat was achieved within a short period of time.
“What makes this achievement even more inspiring is that she has gone from absolute beginner to the global stage in less than 18 months — a true testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and hard work, and a vivid reflection of Nigerian youth’s courage to chase their dreams and embrace challenges.”
The Embassy further expressed delight over the development, saying: “We are immensely proud of this outstanding Nigerian youth, and equally delighted to see the growing fruits of people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and Nigeria.”
