China has finished its campaign at the 20th Asian Games with 169 gold medals, the China Global Television Network (CGTN) reports.
The landmark achievements recorded by China in the field of sports marked its best performance overseas at an Asian Games.
At the end of the Games, China also finished with 89 silver and 83 bronze for a total of 341 medals.

With the success recorded by China during the Games, the country topped both the gold medal and overall medal standings.
“It was China’s best performance at an Asian Games held outside the country,” CGTN stated.
