…Calls for government intervention on erosion menace in Oba-Amaewu Amamba Uzuakoli
Labour Party stalwart in Abia state, Chief Iheanyichukwu Ugochukwu, popularly known as Prince Ugo, has congratulated his big brother, Chief Chinasa Frank Iheanyi who was recently appointed by Governor Alex Oti as National Assembly Liason Officer.
With his appointment, the LP leader in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State and former National Assembly Aspirant under Labour Party would now represent the state at the National Assembly.
In a statement, Chief Ugochukwu said the appointment is a reward for hard work and dedication as a loyal partyman.
While thanking Gov Oti for his appointment, the Uzuakoli Bende -born bussiness man said the governor approach to governance in Abia was gradually endearing His Excellency to the good people of Abia State.
“With the track record of Chief Iheanyi as grassroots mobiliser, I strongly believe that he would deliver excellently in his new appointment,” Chief Ugochukwu said.
In the same manner,I am still appealing to the governor to come to our rescue on the erosion menace, which is taking over Oba- Amaewu Amamba Uzuakoli.
“Quick intervention by the government would ensure that the agrarian communities are not cut off by the ravenous gully erosion menace in the area,”Chief Ugochukwu appealed
